Strule Arts Centre, in Conjunction with McKenna Gallery, presents the 'Brian Ballard Retrospective 1964-2014'. Marking the largest solo exhibition held at Strule Arts Centre, the exhibition is an exploration of the career of the leading Northern Irish artist. Over the past fifty years, Ballard's work has progressed from figuration to abstraction in the 1960's and 1970's and returning to figuration again. An accompanying show will take place in the nearby McKenna Gallery, with both exhibitions curated by Marianne O'Kane Boal. A book on the Belfast-born artist will launch concurrently with the exhibition. Brian Ballard 19th December - 31st January.
