Kevin McAleenan

Born In Banbridge County Down in 1962. .

Kevin Graduated in 1985 with a BA Honours in illustration. During the early 1990's he illustrated a range of Children''s Books for Heinemann-Longman-Peguin and others. Colloborating with Francesca Simon, one of the UK's top Children's Authors to produce "Don't Be Horrid Henry" for Orion Book's. Now painting full time kevin finds fantastic colour relationships in every day landscapes, his style has developed so that it veers towards the abstract, suggesting more than describing the landscapes which have inspired them.

Kevin has exhibited in solo and group shows both here in Ireland and America.
